Why the Rose Achievers Foundation Exists

Following My Passion

I have always believed that there is nothing more fulfilling, more electrifying to the human spirit, than living a life deeply aligned with what sets your soul on fire. But I’ve also seen, with equal clarity, how rare it is for people to truly do that. My own generation, raised with endless opportunity on paper, is living in the midst of what I can only describe as an epidemic of disengagement — a quiet, pervasive resignation to following the standard trajectory, even if that path dulls their spirit.

I’ve watched peers with dreams that once lit up every room they entered slowly abandon them for something “safer” or “more realistic.” I’ve seen higher education — once promised as the great key to our futures — drain young people financially, emotionally, and spiritually, leaving them exhausted and still unsure of who they are or what they truly want. And I’ve lived this reality myself: earning my degree, stepping into the workforce, and waking up to the unsettling question — Is this really what I thought would ignite my soul?

It was in that moment of truth that I turned inward, relying on the power of introspection to face my own reality. I asked myself the same question I now pose to every young person I work with: If not now, when? If not you, who? There is no better time than the present to align yourself with your deepest passion — and to give yourself permission to pursue it with intention, resilience, and courage.

The Rose Achievers Foundation was born from this calling: to connect youth with the opportunities, experiences, mentors, programs, and inspiration they need to chart their own path. Our mission is not one-size-fits-all — because that’s the point. Every individual’s purpose is unique, and the world needs each person’s gift in its purest form.

About the Founder

Catrina Rose Caruso

CEO & Founder

I have always lived with the conviction that life is meant to be felt as much as it is meant to be lived. From a young age, I carried a restless curiosity about the world — an instinct to dig deeper, ask “why,” and seek meaning in everything I touched. I thrived in spaces where passion met purpose, yet I also knew the quiet frustration of feeling out of place in the “standard” path, of sensing that the life in front of me was not the life my soul had imagined.

Like many of my peers, I did what I thought I was “supposed” to do: excel in school, earn the degree, step into a respectable career. And yet, with every success, I felt a hollow echo where fulfillment should have been. I watched people my age move through life on autopilot, trading in their dreams for something safer, silencing the parts of themselves that once made them light up. I recognized it because I was doing it too.

What set me apart was my refusal to let that be the end of my story. I’ve never been afraid to confront discomfort, to sit in the questions most people avoid, to pull apart my own narrative and ask what is true, what is inherited, and what I choose to keep. This fierce introspection led me to the moment where I decided that a life aligned with my values, passions, and unique gifts wasn’t optional — it was the only path forward.

I founded the Rose Achievers Foundation because I believe in the electric force that ignites when someone feels truly seen, supported, and inspired to pursue their calling. I believe in the bravery it takes to step outside the mold and into your own extraordinary life. And I believe in the ripple effect that happens when one person dares to live fully — inspiring others to do the same.

The Rose Achievers Foundation is not just my work. It is my calling, my tribute to the people and experiences that shaped me, and my commitment to a generation I know can rise higher, live deeper, and bloom in ways the world has yet to see.
